Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Officers were conducting patrols in STOCKSFIELD ESTATE after issues raised by local residents regarding ASB and DRUG related crimes. Officers noticed a vehicle parked in the car park near the basketball court with its engine on. As officers approached the vehicle, they noticed male passenger and a female driver. They were both searched and officers recovered quantity of cannabis and a black handled kitchen knife belonging to female driver who was arrested for possession of offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.
